Lincoln Rodeo • Held in June each year, this quality ACRA/IPRA Rodeo draws contestants from across the country. Hosted by the Lincoln
Riding Club, the Lincoln Rodeo begins with a street dance in downtown Lincoln on Wednesday evening, rodeo startring at 8 pm Thurs.-Sat.,
and a parade on Sat. mornings. Rodeo events include: Mutton Bustin, stick horse grand entry crowning the new royalty, saddle bronc,
bareback riding, calf roping, team roping, bull riding, barrel bacing, break-a-way, steer wrestling, and a calf sramble (for kids 12 and under).
Cane Hill Harvest Festival • Held the 3rd weekend in September each year, this event offers free admission and free entertainment for the
entire family. • Proceeds from the Festival are used for maintenance and upkeep of historic Cane Hill College.
Arkansas Country Doctor Museum • 107 N. Starr Ave., Lincoln • 479-824-4307 • One of only two country doctor museums in the country;

Lincoln Lake • Located approx. 2.6 miles north from Hwy. 62 on West Ave. (WC 669), Lincoln Lake has been likened to a "Little Devil's Den"
by some visitors. Enjoy over 90 acres of water on this wildlife preserve, with excellent rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and
stunning photographic scenery.
Bean Cemetery • Located on Hwy. 62 at Meade, Bean Cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in March, 1994 and is
the only cemetery in the US as the resting place of slave laborers who died while building the railroad through the town.
Cane Hill & Cane Hill College • Approx. 6 miles southeast of Lincoln on Hwy. 45, Cane Hill College is home of the
first public school in the state of Arkansas, the first library and the first Sunday school. Many Cane Hill buildings and sites are listed in the
State and National Historical Registers. The Annual Cane Hill Festival is held in September each Fall.
Lake Bob Kidd (also referred to as Budd Kidd Lake) • Bob Kidd Lake, apparently Arkansas' only lake named for a former slave, has excellent
crappie fishing. This lake is operated by the AR Game & Fish Commission.
Lake Wedington • On Hwy. 16, approx. 13 miles from Lincoln, Lake Wedington offers fishing, swimming, picnic

Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park & Museum • 8 miles east of Lincoln in Prairie Grove, AR • Site of the Civil
War battle, with unique buildings depicting the life in Northwest Arkansas in the 1800s • Admission: Free •

Miss Arkansas Apple Harvest Queen Pageant • Held the weekend prior to the Arkansas Apple Festival,
the Queen Pageant is open to Arkansans between the ages of 16 & 22 who compete for the title of
Miss Arkansas Apple Harvest Queen for cash scholarships.

the most talented Ozark artisans in 3 days of arts & crafts, parade, a variety of musical entertainment,
