The City of Lincoln provides curbside pickup of trash, broken or damaged items on our cleanup days at least two times a year. Branches, and small debris from trees, shrubs and other items are collected and recycled in the form of wood chips, and other bio-friendly materials. This material is available as requested depending on its availability.
City Sanitation – $14 per month
PICK UP DAYS: Monday and Thursday if you live on the South side of Hwy. 62; Tuesday and Friday if you live on the North side of Hwy. 62. Limit is 2 bags per pick up. Containers or bags should be 35 gallon size or less. Extra trash is charged at $1.00 per bag.
Larger items (such as furniture or appliances) can be put out for pick up.
We have a Spring and Fall Clean-up week at no extra charge for people within the city limits only.
We will not pick up batteries, tires, construction debris, paint, paint cans, or hazardous chemicals. For hazardous waste, call 479-441-1860. Boston Mountain Solid Waste (between Lincoln and Prairie Grove) is also a good resource; call 846-3005.
Brush and leaves will be picked up on Thursdays. Please bag leaves and bundle brush; place next to where you put your regular trash.
Rural Sanitation – $20.57 per month
PICK UP DAY: Wednesday. Limit is 4 bags per pick up. Containers or bags should be 35 gallon size or less. Extra trash is charged at $1.00 per bag.
Larger items such as furniture or appliances will not be picked up.
Recycled Items can be taken to: Harps grocery parking lot on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, 8 a.m. to noon, or to Boston Mountain Solid Waste District (off Hwy. 62 between Lincoln & Prairie Grove), 846-3005;Hours M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sat. 8 a.m. to noon.
